39 Amarnath Pilgrims Injured in Bus Accident

A bus carrying Amarnath pilgrims skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Ganiwan, Ganderbal district, on Tuesday morning, injuring 39 devotees.

The accident occurred when the bus slipped off the road, but a house at the bottom of the gorge broke its fall, preventing a more severe tragedy.

The injured pilgrims were immediately moved to the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Soura for medical treatment.
