Trailer Kills Family in Jaipur

A tragic accident occurred in Jaipur on Tuesday morning when a speeding trailer ran over a family waiting on the footpath in Kamala Nehru Nagar, killing four members and injuring one. The deceased have been identified as Chandraprakash, his sons Ramesh, Deepak, and Ratan, aged 11, 8, and 10 respectively. Chandraprakash's wife, Kailashi, is seriously injured and undergoing treatment at the trauma centre of SMS Hospital.

The family was waiting for a vehicle to Jaitpura when the out-of-control trailer, loaded with plaster of Paris, came from the opposite direction and crushed them. The police stated that the driver absconded from the scene, and an investigation is currently underway. Additional DCP Lalit Kishore Sharma confirmed that the family was headed to Jaitpura when the accident occurred.

The accident happened on the 200-foot Bypass in the Shyam Nagar police station area.
