Mumbai RTO Launches MH01FL Two-Wheeler Registration Series

The Mumbai Regional Transport Office (RTO) will introduce the new MH01FL registration series for private two-wheelers from August 10.

This decision comes as the existing MH01FK series is nearing exhaustion. Vehicle owners who wish to reserve a preferred or fancy registration number must submit their applications by 12 noon on August 10.

According to the RTO, applications must be submitted in the prescribed format along with the applicable fee at Counter E-11. The facility to reserve preferred registration numbers is available under the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, on payment of the prescribed charges.

To apply, individuals must submit a photo identity proof, address proof, PAN card, and vehicle purchase receipt along with the application. The reserved registration number will remain valid for 180 days, during which the vehicle must be registered.
