Assaults Reported In Mumbai Local Disabled Coaches

In another incident on the same day, a non-disabled woman allegedly travelled in the disabled compartment of the 8.36 am Karjat-CSMT local. When disabled passengers asked her to produce medical documents to prove her injury, the woman allegedly began abusing a disabled passenger, Anil Gangaonkar.

Later, at Kurla station, two of her non-disabled colleagues entered the compartment and allegedly assaulted Gangaonkar. A video of the incident went viral on social media, and the railway police reportedly contacted Gangaonkar to register a complaint.

These incidents have sparked concerns over the safety of disabled passengers in Mumbai's local trains.
