Madhya Pradesh Gets Tumour Boards At New Medical Colleges

Dr Shyamji Rawat, Head of the Department at the State Cancer Institute in Jabalpur, also emphasized the importance of tumour boards in new government medical colleges, particularly in newly opened ones. He mentioned that the five old government medical colleges in Bhopal, Jabalpur, Rewa, Gwalior, and Indore already have tumour boards.

The new tumour boards will be set up in government medical colleges such as Ratlam, Datia, Khandwa, Singrauli, and Vidisha, where patients require multimodal tumour boards. This development is expected to improve cancer care in the state.
