Bhil Student Expelled Over Caste Bias
Laxman, a Class 4 student, faces discrimination at school. He seeks justice from collector.

A fourth-grade student, Laxman, from the Bhil community was expelled from Government Primary School in Jobat, Madhya Pradesh, allegedly due to caste discrimination.
Laxman, accompanied by his parents, met District Collector Neetu Mathur during a public hearing to seek justice. He claimed that he was denied a plate during midday meals and was asked to bring utensils from home.
When his family objected to this treatment, the school administration issued him a Transfer Certificate and expelled him. Following the expulsion, he was denied admission to other schools, leaving him without access to education.
District Collector Neetu Mathur took serious note of the matter and ordered an immediate investigation. She directed officials to ensure Laxman's re-admission to another school the same day. Collector Mathur warned that strict action would be taken against anyone found guilty after the investigation report is completed.
Collector Mathur stated that any form of discrimination against students would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The collector's prompt action aims to address the issue and ensure Laxman's education is not further disrupted.
