Vasai Businessman, Father Assaulted Over ₹76,000 Dues

A shocking incident has come to light in Vasai, where a businessman, Shivakant Tiwari, and his father were allegedly subjected to a brutal assault over a payment dispute involving ₹76,000. The incident took place at Vimal Compound in Naikpada, Vasai East, on the evening of July 31.

According to the complaint, Tiwari supplies industrial chemicals to companies and had an outstanding payment of approximately ₹76,000 pending from a company operated by Mahesh Chaurasia for several months. When Tiwari visited Chaurasia's company to collect the pending payment, he was allegedly verbally abused and physically assaulted.

The situation escalated when Tiwari's father arrived at the spot, and Mahesh Chaurasia and 8 to 10 of his employees allegedly attacked both father and son with iron rods. The attack left both victims seriously injured, and they were immediately rushed to a private hospital, where they continue to receive medical treatment.
