MP Waikar Orders Action Against Builders Denying Conveyance Deeds

Member of Parliament Ravindra Waikar has instructed officials from the Cooperative Department to take proactive steps to ensure that housing societies in Mumbai receive conveyance deeds from developers. Over 75 housing societies participated in the programme, with officials from the Cooperative Department providing detailed guidance on the legal provisions, documentation requirements, and online application process for deemed conveyance.

Waikar also instructed District Deputy Registrars to obtain necessary records from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's Development Plan, Building Proposal, Water Department, and other government agencies if societies are unable to produce the required documents. He urged officials to take the lead in helping societies complete the conveyance process and provide long-awaited relief to flat owners.
