UP Govt Links Teachers With Sensitisation Videos

The Uttar Pradesh government has introduced a new initiative to strengthen child screening in schools. Under the Prashast 2.0 program, teachers will be required to watch sensitisation videos to better understand the screening process and identify the needs of children.

According to the Director General, School Education, all Divisional Assistant Directors of Education (Basic) and District Basic Education Officers have been instructed to direct teachers to watch the sensitisation videos. A total of 10 videos, each approximately 40 minutes long, have been made available for teachers.

All teachers of Parishadiya, private aided and private unaided schools in the state are being linked to the Prashast App/Portal to watch the online sensitisation videos.
