NTA Re-Examines UGC NET English, Commerce, Sociology

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started re-examinations for the English, Commerce, and Sociology papers of the UGC NET June 2026 exam. The re-exams were scheduled after significant errors were found in the original papers.

The English paper was held from 9 AM to Noon, while the Commerce paper took place from 3 PM to 6 PM. The Sociology re-examination is set to take place on September 10 from 9 AM to Noon.

The UGC NET June 2026 examination was originally conducted between June 22 and 30 across 87 subjects. However, multiple complaints were filed regarding errors in the papers, prompting the NTA to constitute a committee to investigate the matter.
