National Lok Adalat On Sept 12 In Dhar, MP

A National Lok Adalat will be organised across Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh on September 12. The event aims to promote the settlement of cases through mutual agreement.

To spread awareness about the Lok Adalat, campaign vehicles were flagged off on Wednesday from the District Court Complex in Dhar. Principal District Sessions Judge Mamta Jain, who is also the chairperson of the District Legal Services Authority, flagged off the vehicles.

The Lok Adalat will be held at Dhar and tehsil courts in Badnawar, Sardarpur, Dharampuri, Manawar, and Kukshi. Various types of cases will be taken up, including compoundable criminal matters, cheque dishonour, bank recovery, motor accident claims, matrimonial disputes, labour disputes, land acquisition, electricity and water bills, service, revenue, and civil matters. Pre-litigation matters will also be considered.

Several judges and officials were present at the flag-off ceremony, including special judge Mary Margaret Francis David, district judge Rahul Verma, and DLSA secretary Pradeep Soni.

In a separate event, three police officers were promoted to inspector at a ceremony held at the superintendent of police office in Dhar. The promoted officers are Rahul Chauhan, Hina Joshi, and Rajesh Chauhan. SP Sachin Sharma congratulated the officers and reminded them that their promotion brings greater responsibilities and opportunities to demonstrate leadership.

The superintendent of police expressed hope that the promoted officers would uphold the dignity of the police department through efficiency, discipline, sensitivity, and dedication while giving priority to public safety and service.
