West Bengal Adds Shyama Prasad Mookerjee To School Syllabus

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced on Thursday that the state government will include chapters on Shyama Prasad Mookerjee in the school and university syllabus.

The state government will purchase 30 decimals of land at Mookerjee's ancestral home and build a modern library named after Sir Ashutosh Mookerjee, along with a museum. The HIDCO made a presentation about the statue of Mookerjee that will be installed at New Town.
