Gujarat Funds NCC Camps For Private School Cadets

The Gujarat government has announced a decision to provide financial support to National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets from private schools and colleges, enabling them to participate in national-level camps without incurring expenses.

Until now, NCC cadets from government schools and colleges in Gujarat received camp allowances, while those from private institutions did not receive similar financial support.

Under the new arrangement, the state government will cover the full eligible expenditure for private-institution cadets, including expenses related to messing, travel, and other incidental charges.
