Collector Urges AI Readiness In Surprise School Visit

Collector Dr Yogesh Tukaram Bharsat made a surprise visit to the Eklavya Model Residential School in Mordundia, Jhabua, on Friday. During the inspection, he reviewed the academic and residential activities of the school.

He shared a meal with the students in the hostel and had an informal conversation with them to gather information about their daily routine, studies, and hostel facilities. The Collector also visited various classrooms, interacting with students about their studies and future aspirations.

Dr Bharsat encouraged the students to work hard, maintain discipline, and strive to achieve their goals. He inspected the school's facilities, including the chemistry lab, physics lab, computer lab, auditorium, library, and medical room.

Addressing the students, the Collector emphasized the importance of staying up to date with the latest technologies, including artificial intelligence. He noted that while humans are the most intelligent species, rapid advancements in technology make it essential for students to cultivate continuous learning habits.

The Collector also stressed that education alone is not sufficient for certain professions, such as medicine, where observational and analytical skills are equally important. He chaired a meeting with the school management committee, attended by teachers and parents, and directed them to ensure quality teaching and closer academic monitoring to improve board examination results.

In a separate visit, Collector Dr Bharsat conducted surprise inspections of schools and hostels in the Ranapur area. He reviewed the educational quality, attendance, and student welfare, directing teachers to improve attendance through parental outreach. The Collector also ordered the immediate admission of an eligible student to a hostel who was facing Aadhaar-related documentation issues.

The officials were instructed to ensure quality education, safety, and essential facilities. The Collector's visits aimed to assess and improve the overall quality of education and student welfare in the region.

The Eklavya Model Residential School is a part of the Indian government's initiative to provide quality education to tribal students. The school provides residential facilities and aims to promote academic excellence and overall development of its students.

The Collector's emphasis on AI readiness and quality education is significant, given the rapidly changing technological landscape. It is essential for students to acquire skills that will enable them to adapt to the changing job market and stay competitive.

The visits by the Collector demonstrate the administration's commitment to improving the quality of education and student welfare in the region. The efforts to ensure quality teaching, improve attendance, and provide essential facilities will likely have a positive impact on the students and the community.

In conclusion, the Collector's surprise visits to the schools and hostels in Jhabua highlight the importance of quality education and AI readiness. The administration's efforts to improve the educational infrastructure and provide essential facilities will likely contribute to the overall development of the region and its students.
