Allana Group Elevates Manish Bandlish As Group MD

Allana Group has appointed Manish Bandlish as its new Group Managing Director, with the goal of increasing its turnover from ₹24,000 crore to ₹40,000 crore over the next three years.

Bandlish, who previously served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Allana Consumer Products Limited, will oversee the group's operations across multiple countries, including India, Malaysia, Vietnam, the UAE, Egypt, and Ethiopia. His primary focus will be on leading the expansion of the food and agri-business group across various sectors, including proteins, poultry, consumer foods, and international markets.

The group's growth strategy involves investing in its core businesses, increasing manufacturing capacity, and entering high-growth food categories. Bandlish plans to accelerate the group's protein business by investing in processing capacity, technology, and infrastructure. Additionally, the group intends to establish two new greenfield plants to strengthen its integrated food-processing capabilities.

Allana is also expanding its poultry business through the Indian Poultry Alliance, a fully integrated venture with an initial investment of $120 million, or approximately ₹1,000 crore. This venture will cover various aspects of the poultry business, including breeder farms, hatcheries, feed plants, broiler contract farming, value-added products, and rendering facilities.

According to Bandlish, the group's immediate priorities include rebalancing its product portfolio by exiting low-margin businesses and pursuing strategic acquisitions. In the long term, the group plans to strengthen its core protein franchise, develop an integrated poultry platform, and accelerate its consumer brands and international businesses.

The group sees significant opportunities in various sectors, including pet food, coffee, processed fruits, protein-led products, bakery, and frozen foods. Its wider portfolio includes frozen and chilled meat, fruit pulps, vegetables, grains, animal nutrition, hides, and ice cream.

Bandlish brings over 25 years of experience in the food, fast-moving consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, sales, and distribution sectors. Before joining Allana Consumer Products in December 2025, he served as Managing Director of Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable. He has also held senior positions at JK Foods, METRO Cash & Carry, Subhiksha, and Marico.

The appointment of Bandlish as Group Managing Director is expected to drive the group's growth and expansion plans. With his extensive experience and expertise, the group is confident of achieving its target of ₹40,000 crore turnover in the next three years.

The growth of the Allana Group is expected to have a positive impact on the Indian economy, particularly in the food and agri-business sectors. The group's expansion plans are likely to create new job opportunities and stimulate economic growth in the regions where it operates.

In conclusion, the appointment of Manish Bandlish as Group Managing Director of Allana Group is a significant development that is expected to drive the group's growth and expansion plans. With its focus on investing in core businesses, increasing manufacturing capacity, and entering high-growth food categories, the group is well-positioned to achieve its target of ₹40,000 crore turnover in the next three years.
