19 Child Deaths Reported in Balaghat, Health Dept Confirms 8

The health department has confirmed that eight children have died due to seasonal diseases like malaria, dehydration, and typhoid. However, MLA Sanjay Uike has released a list of 19 deceased children, sparking a face-off with the health department.

The chief medical and health officer, Dr. Paresh Uplav, informed that out of the eight confirmed deaths, seven children were not brought to the hospital. Only one three-year-old girl, who was severely malnourished and underweight, was brought to the hospital and died.
