Niswarth Sewa Trust Hosts Medical Camps in Mumbai

On Wednesday, the Niswarth Sewa Charitable Trust hosted two public welfare events in Mumbai, providing healthcare services and administrative guidance to hundreds of local residents.

The day's events began in Mohammed Ali Road, where the Trust hosted a comprehensive free medical camp. Qualified practitioners Dr Zubiya Shaikh and Dr M I Khan provided expert medical services and consultations to around 40 patients.

To ensure long-term civic support, organisers formally inaugurated a permanent Documentation Services and Guidance Centre at the Kurla location. The centre will offer affordable processing for crucial documents, such as Ayushman Cards and PAN Cards, while providing step-by-step guidance for income and scholarship applications.

The centre will operate every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday between 11:30 am and 3:30 pm. Representatives from Jamaat-e-Islami Hind and the Niswarth Sewa Charitable Trust emphasised that establishing reliable and affordable community hubs is essential to bridging the gap between state benefits and local citizens.
