MSRTC Cracks Down on Illegal Transport, Fines ₹1.65 Crore

A statewide enforcement drive against illegal transport operations near Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus depots has resulted in action against 8,839 vehicles in just 20 days. The crackdown, which took place between July 1 and July 20, was conducted by MSRTC, the police department, and Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) on the directions of Maharashtra Transport Minister and MSRTC Chairman Pratap Sarnaik.
