CSIR NET June 2026 Exam Starts Tomorrow

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to conduct the CSIR NET June 2026 examination on July 17 and 18. The exam will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at centers across the country.

The examination is for candidates aspiring to qualify for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professor eligibility. Candidates must carefully follow the reporting schedule and exam-day instructions mentioned on their admit cards.

The exam will be conducted in two shifts. Candidates should verify the subject and shift allotted to them on their admit card. The reporting time for the morning shift is 7:00 AM, and for the afternoon shift, it is 1:00 PM. The examination duration will be 180 minutes (3 hours) for both shifts.

The CSIR NET June 2026 examination will test candidates in five subjects: Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sciences. Candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card and one original valid photo identity proof to the examination center.

Candidates without the required documents may not be allowed to appear for the examination. It is essential to read all the instructions printed on the admit card before the exam and follow all instructions issued by the invigilators throughout the examination.
