Central Bank Of India Gives Rs 222 Crore To Indore MSMEs

Central Bank of India has provided Rs 222 crore in credit support to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

The bank organised a mega MSME credit outreach programme at the Association of Industries Madhya Pradesh (AIMP) in Indore, where it connected MSME enterprises with a rapidly growing business environment.

The event was attended by central office general manager Rohit Kumar and regional head Suman Kumar Singh, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of the MSME sector in the country's economic growth.

Rohit Kumar stated that Central Bank of India is working to support entrepreneurs through modern banking technologies and simplified loan processes. During the programme, entrepreneurs were briefed about various loan facilities, government schemes, and specialised MSME products available through the bank.

A total of Rs 222 crore in loan facilities was provided to MSME enterprises through the Central Bank of India Regional Office in Indore, at attractive and competitive interest rates. Out of this, loans worth Rs 80 crore were sanctioned, while Rs 20 crore was disbursed. The remaining Rs 142 crore is currently under process.

Regional head Suman Kumar Singh assured that Central Bank of India remains committed to supporting the MSME sector, which is the foundation of the country's economic strength.

A large number of MSME entrepreneurs, startup founders, and business representatives participated in the programme, which aimed to provide easy financial assistance to MSME enterprises.

The MSME sector is a major engine of the country's economic growth, and Central Bank of India's initiative is expected to boost the sector's growth in Indore.
