Yogi Govt Raises Honorarium 5% For UP Transport Corp Staff

The Yogi Government has announced a 5% increase in the honorarium of outsourced personnel working in the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation.

This decision, effective from July, will benefit 310 employees, including Computer Operators, Accountant-cum-Tally Operators, and Programmers.

According to Minister of State for Transport Dayashankar Singh, the increase is part of a provision for a 10% annual hike in the honorarium of outsourced personnel. The hike is divided into two 5% increments, one in January and the other in July.

The revised honorarium will see Computer Operators' pay rise from approximately Rs 20,655 to Rs 21,420. Accountant-cum-Tally Operators will see their remuneration increase from around Rs 20,000 to Rs 26,000, depending on seniority. Programmers will receive an increase from around Rs 42,000 to Rs 43,313.

The Transport Minister stated that the decision reflects the government's sensitivity towards the interests of employees and personnel. He also emphasized the important role that outsourced personnel play in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation's services.
