Nashik Players Win Medals At State Table Tennis Tournament

Nashik’s Keshika Purkar won two silver medals at the 3rd State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament held in Navi Mumbai.

In the Under-13 Girls’ category, Keshika defeated Thane’s Mahika Suswikar 3-1 in the semifinals to enter the final. She then lost to top-seeded Vedika Jaiswal of TSTTA Mumbai 1-3 in the final, securing a silver medal.

Keshika also competed in the Under-15 Girls’ category, where she defeated TSTTA Mumbai’s Ritanya Devlekar 3-2 in the semifinals. However, she was defeated 0-3 by Myra Sanglekar in the final, earning her second silver medal.

Kushal Chopra, also from Nashik, secured a bronze medal in the Men’s Singles category. He defeated TSTTA Mumbai’s Ravindra Kotian 3-0 in the quarterfinals, but lost to TSTTA Mumbai’s Regan Albucker 1-3 in the semifinals.
