Indore Anganwadi Centres Get Child-Friendly Toilets

Indore, Madhya Pradesh, will soon have child-friendly toilets at its Anganwadi centres in rural areas. This decision was made during a meeting chaired by district panchayat CEO Himanshu Prajapati to review rural development works.

The panchayat department has directed officials to prioritise sanitation facilities for young children, ensuring that toilets in Anganwadi buildings are constructed with the needs, safety, and convenience of children in mind.

The department has instructed that construction work at 19 Anganwadi centres be completed within 15 days. Officials have been asked to ensure that the facilities are properly maintained and made readily accessible to children.
