Borivali Station To Get Massive Redevelopment

A significant redevelopment plan is underway for Borivali railway station, one of the busiest suburban stations on Western Railway, in anticipation of a fourfold increase in peak-hour passenger traffic over the next four decades.

The current peak-hour passenger traffic at Borivali station stands at 36,502, but this number is expected to surge to 1,40,940 by 2063, according to projections by Western Railway.
